Our non-profit cultural association “Atelier di Creatività” was born de facto in 1997 from the collaboration of some artists who worked in the fields of theater, music, publishing, figurative art and architecture.
It was registered on July 29, 1998 in Trieste with protocol 1360 to be able to carry out cultural, artistic, knowledge and protection of the natural environment, exhibitions, awards, courses in various arts.
Over the years, the Association has carried out many artistic and cultural activities, but also social and awareness-raising activities aimed not only at members but also at a wider public.
Our courses for members and schools: theater criticism, creative writing, video shooting and editing, acting, singing, painting, sculpture, manual skills, book presentations, artist evenings with poetry readings, architectural walks to discover cities…
The courses have always been offered free of charge in schools.
Professionals were paid expense reimbursements and a flat-rate attendance fee. The Association’s funds came, until around 2010, from contributions from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di TS; the Municipality of TS; the Province of TS; the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

The Atelier also established the Under 21 Various Arts Award called OscarVip with the participation of people who were very well known to children at the time, such as Mauro Serio who presented Solletico on RAI. The Award was supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Telecommunications, the Parliamentary Commission for Childhood which praised the initiative and the Civic Museum of History and Art of Trieste.

To give visibility to the winning works, we created television episodes where we interviewed the finalists, presented their works and commented on them. The TV channels Teler4 and ReteNord broadcast, for several months, one episode a week.
In 2000, the Atelier di Creatività produced 32 episodes of FANTASTICAMENTE, a children’s TV program about artistic activities in schools and visits to places of art (theaters, music museums, television sets, clay workshops, art exhibitions, exhibitions of opera costumes, ancient villas…) some episodes were produced in collaboration with the Civic Museums of History and Art and the Municipal Library for children

Several well-known figures from the world of theatre have supported the Prize for female theatrical texts dedicated to the actress Giorgia Vignoli who died prematurely in 1994, organized by the Atelier di Creatività. The Teatro Stabile di Trieste Politeama Rossetti, Teatro Stabile la Contrada, Teatro di Gradisca, the Compagnia A. Artisti Associati, Paola Gassman, Ugo Pagliai, Gino Landi, Gianluca Guidi, Benedicta Boccoli and many others have collaborated on the “Giorgia Vignoli” Prize.

From 2006 to 2014
In addition to the now institutional courses, the Atelier opens with expert guides, speleologists, and other professional figures, to artistic meetings in Nature in collaboration with the members of the Experimental Center for Life in Nature section with a branch in Moggio Udinese: theater, manual skills, introspective and emotional painting.
Gymnastics and the art of Magnetic Healing® for the search for mental, physical and emotional balance, all done in the midst of nature rather than in traditional classrooms. The success among the members has been great.
Thanks to the collaboration with some psychotherapists and doctors who are starting to use the MH® technique, summer courses are born with young people and families for theoretical and experimental studies on human potential when working with the synchronic unity of the hemispheres.

From 2014 to 2024
The Atelier organizes institutional art courses in the green Maremma in the summer; and the Magnetic Healing® courses that attract great interest also in conferences in Milan, Tuscany, Lazio.
As a novelty, we begin the collaboration with the family schools that are increasingly being created.
We have organized conferences and courses on the balance of the biomagnetic field, experimented with orienteering without compasses by testing the magnetic north with the difference in potential between the human biomagnetic field and the Earth’s.
Our first courses and lessons on green building and off grid are born. We have been invited to hold conferences at trade fairs of Slow Travel and energy autonomy.
In 2020, an agronomist, an architect, a construction expert are engaged as an Atelier to teach self-construction and off grid at a S.S. Agricola whose members seem to want to live in the countryside. The project is to create a small off grid village.
We carry out awareness courses on organics in schools in FVG, Lazio and Tuscany. Visits to oil mills and explanations of the harmfulness of pesticides.
Courses for adults and in family schools on self-determination, self-declared trust, Common Law laws and self-construction of small houses in off-grid green building begin with experts.
On 2024 L’Atelier complies with the new regulations on Cultural Associations which today must fall within the so-called third sector.

2024-2034 Program

1. Continue the institutional activities regarding the courses in art, creative writing, manual skills, MH®, green building, architecture, off grid etc. both in Naturaand in conventional temporary locations, to reach the definitive ones once purchased.

2. Organize the annual Young Excellence Award

3. Organize the annual Young Excellence Grand Ball

4. Create, together with other associations, non-profit organizations and professionals with whom we are in contact, new, more modern university faculties, capable of using innovative tools to create greater interest in studying; leading students to a broader knowledge of themselves, their abilities and aptitudes also in the field of research or work.

5. Purchase 3 physical locations for corporate activities: north, center, south, to create synergy between those who truly want to work for young people and for the future.
The center will have to be a location in Nature, with the possibility of hosting conferences and members and families for summer events. The idea is for a location with the function of agri-camping so as to be able to become self-sufficient and with the income from hospitality also be able to subsidize artistic, research, publishing activities, etc.
The other two locations, north and south, could be in ordinary apartments. But the center location, being equally distant from the north and south, will necessarily have to be larger and, as mentioned, have rooms for common events, but also houses for the hospitality of members.

6. Purchase a location where to create and manage an INNOVATIVE MUSEUM OF ARTS AND CRAFTS. The first pavilions will be dedicated to the art of ancient Venetian navigation, with a location for the new school of the art of master shipwrights. We will then have the Art of glassmaking, tailoring, shoemaking and so on.
The aim is to save not only the memory of ancient skills, but to bring back the experience of that manual skill now lost by the new generations, with consequent serious emotional and psychological problems. We want to transform the idea of a museum: today the museum is perceived by children, boys and young people, as a dead environment, where they only observe the “corpses” of what once was.
Our idea is to make it a living and mysterious place, where objects speak and tell stories. Where a few months a year you can once again experiment with those ancient works with the very few professionals still left.
All of this is naturally supported and made even more interesting by the new technology available.
